Interment followed in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Charles Henry Nethers died Jan. 13, 1999 in San Diego, Calif.
Mr. Nethers was born June 2, 1919 in Woodville, a son of the late James Robert Nethers and Christie Ellen Hawkins Nethers.
Mr. Nethers served in the United States Navy as a Chief HMC and the World War II and Korean wars.
Mr. Nethers was a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge #78-AF&AM in Washington, and then a member of East San Diego Masonic Lodge #561-F&AM in California.
Survivors include two daughters, Jan Nethers of San Diego, Calif, and Jill Merritt of Carlsbad, Calif, and a brother, George Ashby Nethers of Front Royal.
Services were held Jan. 25 at Fort Rosecrans in San Diego.
Memorial donations may be made to the Navy Relief Society.
