Lions Club at The Theatre in Washington on Sunday afternoon. There were two competitions, elementary and high school.
There were two categories in each competition, voice and instrumental. Winners from the Woodville area were Jami Gillis, who took first place in High School Instrumental (piano); second place went to Wendy Gillis in High School Instrumental (saxophone).
Other contestants from this area were Steven Von Fange, violin; Kara and James Lofton, grandchildren of Mrs. Wilhemina Price and the youngest Taylor Light, age six.
