postponement of the 20th annual Rappahannock Point-to-Point Races to Sunday, March 9. Susan Baldwin was the outstanding salesperson in the recent magazine sales campaign conducted at Rappahannock County Elementary School. She sold more than $200. Second high salesman was Chucky Sisk and in third place was Franklin Williams.

Gordon Thornhill, manager of Rappahannock Farmers’ Cooperative, Sperryville and Coop directors, Alan Stokes and James F. Massie attended the annual membership meeting Monday evening. Mr. Thornhill reported the volume of business during the past year topped a million dollars for the first time. Sammy Foreback of Flint Hill received his Cub Scout Wolf Badge and a Gold Arrow Point, also at the Cub Blue and Gold Banquet Monday. The Rev. B.G. Titchenell, Cubmaster of Woodville presents the badge to Sammy’s grandmother, Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck who in turn made the presentation to Sammy. About 60 scouts and parents attended the banquet. The Heart Fund campaign in Rappahannock will be concluded this weekend with a party Saturday evening, March 2 at the Flint Hill fire hall.
