Community pot

luck picnic June 26

The Woodville Community Organization is announcing the first quarterly picnic meeting of the year for the community and friends of Woodville. The Manwaring family is hosting the event at their pond site, which is located at the base of the Red Oak, just off of Five Forks Road. The event will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 2 p.m. to dark. Bring your children and your neighbors and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of community fellowship and fun.

There will be volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, fishing, and great swimming (parents are responsible for the safety of their children). Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided. Please bring a side dish and/or a drink, your musical instruments, lawn chair, fishing pole, swimming trunks, towels, and sun block. Changing areas and restroom will be available. The meal will begin at 6 p.m.

Please RSVP so we know how many to prepare for by calling either Jim and Carolyn Manwaring at 987-8433, Henry and Angela Wood at 987-3301, or Jeff and Theresa Light at 9879523.
