“Essential Etcetera ”
The Middle Street Gallery will be showing two and three dimensional works by Gary Colson, Jeanne Drevas, Nina Moore and Chris Stephens. Paintings, mummies and cocoons, handmade paper, landscape inspired reliefs are featured. They incorporate plaster, clay, fiber, acorns, coffee cans, trompe l’oeuil techniques; you name it. The show runs now through June 27. Hours are Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information call 987-3113.

Family reunion scheduled
The families of Weaver, Butler and Thornhill will host their annual reunion on Sunday, June 27 at the Rappahannock Park on U.S. 211. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Those attending should bring a covered dish.
Nature Camp scheduled
The Rappahannock Nature Camp will be held June 28July 9 at Singing Creek near Sperryville. This is a day camp for girls and boys age eight to 14, devoted to the study and exploration of local natural history.
