We spend much energy in our lives holding on.. .to anger or pride, perhaps to worry or fear. Why? Is it because we are afraid that letting go could hold worse consequences? We need to know when to let go. There is an exercise in faith demonstrated in many Christian groups throughout the country. Members take turns falling backwards into a group of their peers, letting go of the fear of falling and replacing it with the faith in those who are waiting behind them. In Psalm 145:14, we read... “The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.” God is there when we let go. He is there to cushion our falls, if we but trust Him, for our Heavenly Father knows what awaits us.
Commune with God regularly at your chosen place of worship. Each week your faith will increase. You will let go of fear and hold on to God.
