The annual fund raising carnival of Chester Gap Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be held Wednesday through Saturday, July 2-5. A group of exciting rides, games and prizes and good food will be featured.
In the recent meeting of the Amissville Ruritans, plans were revealed for the activities and menu of the club’s annual beef barbecue to be held July 5. The business of the evening followed the fine chicken, potato salad dinner served by the Homemakers Club of Amissville. Other plans included a fall horse show, to which the speaker of the evening was able to contribute from his own experience with 4-H groups.
