Conservation Alliance group to meet
The Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance will meet Tuesday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall. Discussions will continue on organizational relationships and Board of Director nominations, and committees will report on progress. All are invited to attend.
Amissville’s carnival underway
Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is currently underway with their annual carnival which will continue through June 26. As is usual, box suppers will be available on Thursday during and following the parade. Food donations including potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans and cakes will be needed. Cash contributions will help with purchases of chicken, bread, boxes, etc. Please call Sarah Latham at 937-4410 and help her with this project. She has just had another birthday and needs all the help she can get.
