Havura Ktana announced recently that its June meeting will be held at the Rappahannock County Library, Washington, at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 27. The movie, Wedding in Galilee, will be shown and discussed. This is a Belgian film which explores the complex relationship between Israeli Arab and Israeli Jew, an issue which unfolds when some Jewish friends are invited to attend a Palestinian wedding. Ail Havura programs are open to the public, Jew and non-Jew alike. The Havura (friendship circle) Ktana (small) was formed by the Jewish community of Rappahannock County and adjoining counties for people wishing to explore and deepen their relationship to Judaism.
