Board vacancy

The position of Jackson District representative on the Rappahannock County School Board is vacant due to a resignation. Citizens interested in being considered for appointment are encouraged to submit, in person, a letter of interest, along with a resume to the School Board Clerk (Mrs. Mary Anne Biggs) at the School Board Office. Upon receipt of that letter and resume, it will be required that prospective candidates fill out a questionnaire and return it to the School Board office by noon on July 14. Directors to meet

The July board of directors meeting for RLEP, the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, will take place Monday, July 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. The meeting is open to the public.
