The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual fireman’s carnival July 26-29 at the carnival grounds.
Five Star Amusements is again providing rides and concessions. Wednesday night is family night and the rides are $8 all-you-can ride until closing. All other nights , the rides are $10 all-you-can ride until closing. The carnival starts at 7 p.m. each evening and the parade starts at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
The newly crowned Miss Virginia 2000 will be making her first public appearance at the parade.
Wayne Blosser is again providing his "famous" chicken barbecue dinners on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and the Ladies Auxiliary is providing fine food and baked goods for your eating enjoyment each night.
