Following up on Planning Commission action and recommendations, the County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the zoning ordinance that would permit schools of greater than twenty-five students in highway commercial zones, thus paving the way for the Hearthstone Whole Family Learning Center to complete their planned move from Castleton to the Country Manor property on US 211 in Sperryville.
