Congratulations to Andy Berry and Amy Flock who were united in marriage on Saturday, July 8 at the Washington Baptist Church by Rev. Phil Bailey.
From July 15-20, seventeen young adults from Slovakia will be guests in local homes of the Washington area while sharing their Christian testimony in word and song. Sunday, July 16 they will speak in Sunday school and morning worship service at the Washington Baptist Church.
While here the team will visit with other churches as well as the Washington Zoo, Skyline Caverns, Lynn Care Nursing Home and will enjoy eating and shopping. This is a great opportunity for the fellow Baptists from Europe so plan to support them and be blessed by them. The public is invited for this service on Sunday, July 16 at the church.
Happy birthday to Jessica Estes who will celebrate her 14th birthday on Friday, July 14.
Visitors during the weekend of Mrs. Addie Keyser and Mrs. Virginia Cloud were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Keyser and daughter Michelle, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Keyser and son of Alexandria, Mrs. Marie Rutherford of Front Royal and Mrs. Jeanetta Pullen of Flint Hill.
The Fourth of July event at the Washington Baptist Church was very successful and greatly appreciated by all who participated.
