Berry picking time
. Edward Burgess of Sarasota, Fla. is visiting John and Lee Trott in Flint Hill for the second year in a row and is helping to pick produce and also with jelly and preserve making. It is evident that Burgess is proud of the red currants he picked recently at John Burns' Goat Hill Farm. The Trdtts will sell the currant jelly along with black currant preserves and much more at The Farmer’s Market near The Plains every Sunday.
