If its been a little while since you spent a sunny afternoon wandering the shops in Washington, there is at least one you've never been to. Some folks from the old Gay Street Mercantile have gotten together with a few friends and opened Rush River Antiques and Interiors, a new and larger shop at the lower level comer of Jett and Gay Streets.
I spoke with Carol Miller, who owns and runs the shop along with partners Maggie Bracewell, Flo Phillips, Joan Herrema, Deborah Flournoy and others.
