Asked how he thought the Virginia state police investigation into Montpelier was going, Fletcher said, "I think the state police are doing a good job and doing everything that can be done since they got involved with the case."
Asked how he thought the sheriff s office was doing on the investigation, he said, "No comment."
Regarding the vandalism at Montpelier, Fletcher said it was "an insult" to everyone. He said he was angry that “someone did what they did to Montpelier. It's an insult — all) insult to my parents, my family, my nation.”
