Fourth of July - an

outstanding event

The Rappahannock County Community has again celebrated

a wonderful Fourth of July. As in previous years, as Mayor of the Town of Washington, I would like to express my grateful appreciation to R.A.A.C. for their outstanding management, leadership and just plain hard work in producing this outstanding event.

This year, I would additionally like to thank the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County for their contributing to pay for the parking for the county's residents and thus helping to make this event a truly county wide celebration.

Finally, I would extend my appreciation to the citizens of the county for coming and enjoying the day in a manner that respected the dignity of the Town.

Stewart Willis, Mayor

Town of Washington
