Rush River Antiques is in many ways a reincarnation of the old Gay Street Mercantilebut with a few differences. Mrs. Miller feels the larger floor space is helpful: "We have a lot more room here to display our antiques. We have more room to spread out here and so therefore we have a more extensive collection."
If you have an item in mind, but do not see it, ask Mrs. Miller or whoever is minding the shop that day. They enjoy antiquing themselves, and constantly go to auctions and sales in search of nice pieces and new material.
