Headwaters' Board to meet The December board of directors meeting for Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, will take place Monday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. The meeting is open to the public.
Santa at Horse N Hound Santa will be making a special appearance at Horse N Hound in Flint Hill from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9. Come, visit Santa in his sleigh and have your photograph taken with him. There will also be free hot cocoa and cookies. Band Boosters to meet The Rappahannock County Band Boosters will meet on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at the High School Band Room. Everyone is invited. Health Screening programs set The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition center: Blood pressure screening on Dec. 11 at 11:30 am. and Exercise program and review medications on Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. If interested in attending any of these programs, contact Anita Richards at 825-3100, extension #3321.
