A POSITIVE APPROACH At least one recent study confirms a suspicion that many of us hold - that viewing life in a positive manner helps us live longer. When researchers reviewed the lives of people who were assessed to be optimists 30 years earlier, they found that they lived nearly 20 percent longer than pessimists. This research provides one more piece of evidence that there is a mind/body connection, in which a healthy outlook confers health benefits to the physical being. Those who view the glass as being half full are thus likely to attract more positiveness to themselves than those who see that glass as half empty. This, as the title of Norman Vincent Peale’s book proclaims, is' “The Power of Positive Thinking”. A positive outlook always benefits us all, because it improves our outlook on our lives as well as positively affecting the lives of those around us. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, you’ll find gracious appointments, spacious rooms, and thoughtful professionals who make you feel comfortable. You’ll find us to be experienced in the ups and downs of grief and here to lend a hand. For years, we have worked with families, helping them through difficult times. Call us at 540347-3431. We’re here to lend a hand. “The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds, and the pessimist fears this is true. ”
