Wrestling
Coach Jim Wells and 30 wrestlers traveled to George Mason High School for a scrimmage on Saturday, Dec. 2. George Mason, Rapp, McLean, and North Stafford High Schools all showed*up for a great Saturday of wrestling. The Mustang gym floor was covered with mats as 18 matches went on simultaneously. Our wrestlers got in up to five matches each as the high-tempo match schedule kept all the boys moving on and off the mats as soon as each match was oyer.
After the scripamage ended, Coach Wells said, "I was happy with the effort our guys put forward and I think some of our wrestlers are going to surprise some people this year, despite their lack of experience."
