Also surviving are five grandchildren, Tammy Nagi of Waldorf, Md., Teresa Myers of Fincastle, Tina Scully of Winchester, T. J. Oaks of Front Royal and Evelyn Moore of Dublin, Ga.; a brother, Samuel Mills of Front Royal and two sisters, Dorothy Smith and Della Mae Day, both of Front Royal.
Pallbearers were Darryl Day, Dwayne Day, Steve Nagi, D.J. Mills, Ryan Nagi and Darrell Myers.
Honorary pallbearers were Doug Merchant, Ralph Murphy, Glen Updike, Larry Updike and Gary Williams.
Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.

Amissville resident
Bertie Dodson Hackley, 89, of Amissville died Dec. 1 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was born Jan. 18, 1911, a daughter of the late Ernest George Dodson and Neva Nicholson Dodson.
She was a member of the Amissville Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Johnie James Hackley; three brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include a son, James Theodore "Bobby” Hackley and his wife Alice of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Jean Burner and her husband Nelson and Doris Sealock and her husband James, all of Amissville; an adopted son, Michael Haymaker of Ghesterfield; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Acrey Dodson of Viewtown, Robert Dodson and Bealeton and Milton Dodson of Grand Junction, Col. and two sisters, Mattie Hackley and Florine Smith, both of Amissville.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 4 at Amissville Baptist Church by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Interment was in the church cemetery.
