Luther Lee Campbell, 61, of Amissville died Sunday, Dec. 3 at Fauquier Hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1939 in Flint Hill to the late Leonard Daniel Campbell and Frances Katherine Jenkins Campbell.
He served in the United States Navy for four years. He was a Superintendent of South Wales Golf Course for 36 years.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Dorothy Stuard Dodson Campbell; a daughter, Wanda Lee Campbell Jenkins and a grandson, Brandon Lee Jenkins, all of Amissville.
Additional survivors include seven brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law; his mother-in-law and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at Found & Sons Chapel with Rev. Jon C. Heddleston officiating.
Interment followed at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers were Danny Baldwin, Kenneth Baldwin, Ronnie Dodson, Keith Jenkins, Ennis Jenkins and Opie Crawford.
