Society plans
winter walk
The Virginia Native Plant Society, Piedmont Chapter, is inviting residents of Rappahannock County and the surrounding area to a winter nature walk on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 1:30 p.m. • The nature walk will be at Wildcat Mountain, which is located near Warrenton. Wildcat Mountain is a registered Nature Conservancy site and unique in its natural vegetation.
“We will be observing trees, shrubs and birds, all in their winter garb,* said an organizer. There is no charge for the walk and light refreshments will be served. For details and directions call Bruce Jones at 675-3152.
Yoga classes set
