• Many thanks to Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation and the RCES PTO for sponsoring the program "Life Alter High School" on Friday night, Jan. 5 at the Public Library. Recent graduates of RCHS returned to share their thoughts on how RCHS prepared them for life after high school.
We are very grateful to the following young adults who participated in the program: Sandra Oliver, Laine Morgan, Emily Sims, Jennings Hobson, Rebecca Metcalfe, Anna Metcalfe and Ian Blubaugh. It was a pleasure to watch them as they fielded questions in such a mature and responsible way.
Among the positive aspects that were mentioned in regards to attending Rappahannock County High School were the small class ■ size, the fact that you could* get to know your teachers well, and the opportunities for involvement and success in a variety of sports and extracurricular activities because of less student competition for those positions.
Across the board the young panelists wished that they had received more guidance and assistance with the college search and application
