Verda Morris, 77, of Sherman, Texas died Friday, Jan. 5 in Wilson N. Jones Medical Center.
Services were conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at Dannell Funeral Home Chapel by the Rey. Kenneth Dacus of Victory Baptist Church. Butial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
She was predeceased by her husband W.H. Morris.
Surviving are two daughters, Charlotte Taylor of Sherman, Texas and Elaine Hix of Washington, Va.; a brother, Harold Dickens of Fort Smith, Ark.; four grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, Jan. 6 at Prospect Hill Cemetery with Rev. Merlin Shorb.
Mrs. Calfee was born Jan. 9, 1915 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Clarence E. and Bertha Clark Jones.
She retired from FMC Corporation, having worked in the converting department.
She was a member of the Flint Hill Baptist Church and was married to the late
