Superintendent Dr. David Gangel recommended new coAssistant Superintendent Helen Williams for the position of Clerk and himself for the position of Deputy Clerk, and the Board voted in favor of these recommendations. Mrs. Williams was also selected as the Superintendent s Designee, Rosa Crocker was elected as Headwaters Representative, and Aileen Johnson was returned as George Washington Carver/ Piedmont Representative.
The Board also made committee assignments, with members Crocker and Warner to Budget and Finance, Mills and Crocker to Buildings and Grounds, Sharp and Warner to Policy and Legal, Crocker and Sharp to Educational Programs and Strategic Planning, Johnson and Mills to Government Liaison and -Community Relations, and Johnson and Sharp to Personnel.
