On Saturday, Feb. 10 at 8 p.m., the Theatre at Washington, V.a, presents the first concert of the new year in the acclaimed "Smithsonian at Little Washington" series.

Dutch baritone Max van Egmond and pianist Kenneth Slowik will perform the great Romantic Lieder of Schubert and Schumann. Van Egmond comes from the Netherlands each year to i give recitals in the United States.

Last year, in an outstanding concert, the pair delighted Little Washington audiences with Schubert's Schwanengesang. For this year's concert, in addition to music of Schubert, there will be songs of Robert Schumann.
