During those years he also spent varying amounts of time concerned with issues of the farm, of how best to manage the land and protect the waters that intersect it. Increasingly he has been drawn to full time life in Rappahannock County, to the land, and to active involvement in the deep and rich complexities of its community.
On Feb. 9, as speaker of the RAAC sponsored Friday Library Series, Mr. Miller will talk on the evolution of his thoughts about land and water management, the care of his farm and various possibilities of land usage that intertwine with options for Sperryville and with Rappahannock County. The evening will be from 8 until 9:30 p.m.
