The claims of the tax-increase lobby are disingenuous and cynical. It's not like the bean counters in Richmond are scratching their heads, wondering how to pay for the promised tax cut. The money is there. It's already been budgeted.
And most importantly, it's already been promised.

I hope you never allow Sally Keyser to stop writing her column. It is one of the best things you have in your paper.
I am sure she has the ability and the knowledge to write many articles about life in Rappahannock before the Park came.
I have been away from Rappahannock County for over 50 years so I don't know many of the people she writes about in the Sperryville News but that is still the first thing I read when I get the paper each week.
