Democrats to meet Tuesday
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library and another standing-room only crowd is encouraged.
A full agenda will include reports from the Standing Committees, an update on the calendar for the year, a work session on "grass-rootsing,’ a guest from the John Edwards campaign and another chance to visit with Peter Schwartz.

Variety Show scheduled
The annual Variety Show hosted by the Washington Baptist Church will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. at The Theatre in Washington.
This special event is the fifth annual variety show produced and performed by a variety of entertainers, ages under 8 to over 80, all from the Washington Baptist Church family. The last four annual shows have been enjoyed by families, friends and neighbors. There is no charge, although a free-will offering will be received.
Library Series to continue
Cliff Miller will be the speaker at the RAAC Friday Night at the Library Series on Feb. 9. Mr. Miller will talk about the evolution of his ideas about farming and land and water management, and thoughts on the future of his farm and the parts it may play . in Sperryville and Rappahannock County life.
Softball clinic scheduled
Softball clinics will be held on Sunday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Culpeper County High School gymnasium. Registration begins at 12:15 p.m. The cost for each session is $20 or $30 for both sessions. The clinic is open to girls from ages 8-15 from Culpeper and surrounding counties.
