window sill. Working together we gently captured the owl and placed him in a small, dark box. He looked thin and weak but nothing appeared broken.
Kent Knowles has the Bamv now and is hydrating and feeding him to restore his vitality. All of our hopes are to bring him back here to Gid Brown Hollow and release him.
One lesson worth learning is chimneys should be capped and indeed ours has been. There is no sense in plopping a house down in the country and expect the wildlife to understand its man-made complexities. We're all in this together.
