The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community has selected an array of films for the spring-summer season to be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street, Washington, Va. Films are shown on the first and third Fridays of each month at 8 p.m. A brief review of each follows.
• May 3: “A Beautiful Mind” (PG13, 135 minutes) Russell Crowe gives a powerhouse performance as the gifted but troubled mathematician John Forbes Nash Jr., who as a paranoid schizophrenic is a Nobel Prize winner still working as a professor at Princeton.
