Fiber Artist set meeting

The first meeting of the Windmore Fiber Artists will be at the Culpeper County Library in Southgate Shopping Center on Saturday, May 4 at 4 p.m. in one of the group study rooms. For more information contact Marty Moon at the Windmore Office at 547-2555.

Clinic will be open May 1

The Rappahannock Free Clinic, a local operation of the Fauquier Free Clinic Inc., is currently open on the- first thud and fifth Wednesdays of each month. The clinic will be open Wednesday, May 1 and not again until May 15

Hospice of the Rapidan offers free bereavement support groups to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. with or without prior Hospice affiliation. The discussion group now forming will meet on Monday evenings for six weeks, beginning June 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hospice of the Rapidan Community room. Dreamtime activities slated

Dreamtime Center for Herbal Studies will offer the following events: May 4, “Cooking with Healing Foods”, 9:30 a m. to 4:30 p.m. Learn how to add simple, healing foods to your diet to improve your health. The class will be taught by Kim Miller and the fee is $70.

On May 11, Dreamtime will sponsor a “Forest Walk” from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn to identify ginseng, blue cohosh, goldenseal, and other spring ephemerals in lush woodlands. Brown bag lunch, herb teas provided. $40 per person. Dreamtime is located on Sunnyside Farms in Washington, call 675-1122 to register.
