William Toliver

William Brownie Toliver of Eggbornsville died on Thursday, April 18 at Mount Vernon Nursing Home ift Alexandria.
He was born on Jan. 9, 1910. He joined Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston at a very early age. He was very active within the church and community.
Mr. Ibliver served in various capacities including: thfe Deacon Board, Church Treasurer, Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, insurance agent, cab driver, school bus driver and operator and owner of the Marshall Funeral Home as well as the Toliver Grocery Store.
Survivors include a son, Kockwood Peyton of Alexandria; a sister, Icy Virginia Hollingworth of Chantilly; one brother; John Toliver of Leesburg; step-mother, Mrs. Icy Lucille King of Amissville; three step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 27 at the Nazareth Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Frye Burial was at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Eggbornsville.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
