Benefit breakfast slated

“Cops for A Cure”, the Rappahannock Shenff's Office Relay for Life team, will sponsor a benefit breakfast on Sunday. May 5 at Rappahannock County Elementary School from 7 to 11m.

The menu will consist of sausage, gravy pancakes, eggs, bacon and all the fixings. Children under three can eat for free; from four to ten years of age the cost is S3 and over ten and adult breakfasts will be $6. All proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life American Cancer Society.

Free concei t at RCHS

On Thursday, May 2 at 8 p.m. there will be a free concert presented jointly by the Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society and "Rappahannock", a quintet comprised of five local musicians. The concert opens with selections from Broadway Musicals by the Choral Society, followed before and after the intermission by musical offerings by "Rappahannock" and will close with selections from "My Fair Lady" sung by the Choral Society

The artists in the quintet are Beth Levick. Scott and Kathy Tester, Brian Smith and Michael Vinson. Most of the selections in this concert are original compositions by the performers. No tickets are required for this performance, but there will be baskets at the doors.
