The RCHS boys track team continued to show improvement and placed second with 56 points in a tri-meet at Clarke County, defeating Timber Ridge (12 points) but losing to Clarke County (86 points).
Ryan Brown won the triple jump with a leap of (38-ft., 6.25-inches) and garnered second place finishes in both the long jump (18-ft., 7.5-inches) and 100m dash (11.9 seconds). Brown also placed third in the 200m dash (24.9 seconds) and ran a leg on the third-place 4 x 100 relay team (49.2 seconds).
Kevin Martin headed fine efforts from the long-distance contingent, winning both the 1600m (5:16) and 3200m runs (11:43). Albert Dodd-Henze ran on the 4 x 100 and winning 4 x 400 relay teams, and placed third in both the high jump (5ft., 8-inches) and triple jump (36-ft., 4-inches).
