Flint Hill

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary met at the fire hall on April 7.

Members present were Mary Blaisdale, Mary Curtis, Harriet Davis, Lucy Foster, Margaret Lee, Jean Lillard, Mabel Lillard, Lois Markee, Jeanetta Pullen, Gaynelle Russell, Shannon Swain and Arland Welch.

The ladies made plans for the Country Festival which will be held on April 26 following the Fodderstack races. Bob Ryan of NBC News will be the master of ceremonies. Arts and crafts tables will be available and the auxiliary will be selling food.

Blue Grass music will be played from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Plan now to attend.

The community breakfast which is normally held on the third Saturday is canceled and will be held following the sunrise service on Easter Sunday, April 20. The public is welcome. Breakfast will begin following the 6:30 a.m. service.

Jennifer, Michael and Rebecca Cieslak of Ruther Glenn have been spending a few days with their grandparents, Ernie and Thelma Crane.

The Willis Chapel United Methodist Church will have Holy Thursday service beginning with a covered dish at 6 p.m. The service will begin at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
