Easter puppies are due this week as Hershey, the dog in this photo, is expecting any day now. The Rappahannock County 4-H Dog Club learned about pregnancy in dogs from Dr. Kim Cole and technician Kim Whitehead at Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic in Sperryville. A sonogram was performed on Hershey a few weeks ago with 4-H members observing. Dr. Cole explained the proper nutrition and care needed for a dog during pregnancy. The 4-H Dog Club said it appreciates the support Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic gives to the club.
