Closings and Meetings
• The Rappahannock County Courthouse and other county offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day. • The Rappahannock National Bank will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1 and will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 2. • Rapidtran transportation services will not operate on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day. Rapidtran is a program of the Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board & Area Agency on Aging. • On Wednesday, Sept 3, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. The regularly scheduled meeting on Sept. 1 was postponed because of the Labor Day holiday. • On Thursday, Sept. 4 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse on Gay Street.
