A young boy, about six or seven, was sitting alone with his back against a tree, looking forlorn. He stood out among the 88 other children at Camp Fantastic who were having a good time. The toy bunny rabbit in his arms wasn’t cheering him up.
One could see that he had lost much of his hair and his head was covered with a pair of Hanes’ briefs and a colorful Santa Claus night sock.
“What’s your name?” this reporter asked.
Keeping the same forlorn look, he responded, “Logan.”
He spelled his last name “W-AI-D-E” and said he was from Virginia Beach.
“Would you like me to take your picture?”
Then Logan flashed a big smile and posed for his picture.
