Sperryville died Aug. 20 at the university of Virginia Medical uenter in Charlottesville.
She was born Oct. 29,1927 2 Rappahannock County to wje late Berl Atha Atkins and Alice Baker Atkins. , Mrs. Ralls was a member o* Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church in Sperryville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Atkins and a sister, Anna Marie Atkins.
Mrs. Ralls is survived by her husband, Dennis Ralls Sr., two sons, Dennis Ralls Jr., of Sperryville and Jimmie Hitt .from Lanexa, Va.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Josephine Alther and Janie Atkins both
RoughRide
bicycling
event takes
place on
Sept. 20
It’s time to begin gearing up for the Seventh Annual Rappahannock RoughRide to be held on Saturday, Sept. 20. This event will benefit the Fauquier County Free Clinic and the Rappahannock County Free Clinic, in Washington which opened its doors on Jan. 17, 2001.
The RoughRide is a fun bicycling event with rides for cyclists of all levels; a route for the beginner (12 miles), a couple longer choices for the intermediate (30-35 miles), and even longer and more challenging courses for the advanced (35-50+ miles).
