ministry last year after having been a full-time pastor in Virginia for the past 11 years. Prior to coming to the state she was director of a senior volunteer program in Waco, Texas, and worked in several nursing homes.
Her goal this year is to help the school move towards its mission statement of becoming second to none and producing lifelong learners.
Adams has a passion for volunteering and hopes she will be able to find individuals who wall set good examples for the students.
“Civilization is built on kindness and knowledge and volunteers embody that,” she said.
