On Monday, Aug. 18 the Panthers traveled to Clarke County to face the Eagles and the GMHS Mustangs in a trimatch. The Panthers shot 369 in the 18-hole match to soundly defeat CCHS (400) but were edged by GMHS (366).

•Brian Taylor shot an 82 to lead the RCHS squad. Jacob Dodson and Ben Hahn contributed to the Panther score with rounds of 94. Tyler Hartman added a 99 to complete the Panther tally.

The Panthers hosted LHS and saw GMHS for the second time in four days on Thursday, Aug. 21 in a nine-hole trimatch. The Panthers, showing considerable improvement and receiving solid contributions from all team mehibers, defeated both teams.

The Panthers reversed the week’s earlier decision with GMHS, changing a threestroke deficit to a five-stroke margin of victory. Brian Taylor shot an impressive 37 to lead all scorers. Tyler Hartman, tying for the second-lowest score in the match, added a 45. Jacob Dodson (48) and Josh Creel (49) rounded out the Panther scoring.

Complete results for both matches are shown below. The Panthers travel to LHS on Thursday, Aug. 28 for a non-district match.
