He has a current exhibit at the Mars Gallery in Chicago and at the Third Stone Gallery in Saugatuck, Mich. Thomas characterizes his work as “personal images which are much indebted to folk art, the work of children, and to primitive art,” he said. “I strive,” he adds, “for a spontaneous and expressive approach in conveying my ideas.”
Carin studied painting and print-making at Grinnell College in Iowa and at the Academy of Art in Stockholm, Sweden. After pursuing other interests for 15 years, she started taking courses in ceramics at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. about six years ago.
