After two weeks of rain the Rappahannock Athletic Association finally bad a chance to play baseball this week.

The Rookie teem coached by Chuck Putnam played two great games. The first, against a young team from Warrenton, ended in a tie 6-5. Rapp 2 hdW the lead until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Taylor team had a rally and tied the game.

Great effort* were given by all the players especially Nick Putnam playing pitchers mound and Travis Pullen on first base. Dylan Hitt and Evan Hitt both drove in runs off at triples. Paul Pechie made a catch at short stop to stop the advancing runner and the game ended with an out at first by Travis and Nick.

The second game was against a tough team from Hume. Rapp 2 won that game by a score of 14-3 with some great defense by Evan Hitt at shortstop and Chris Berry at catcher. Adam Jordan, Paul Pechie, Alec Jordan, Drew
