Billy do I>;Vega had a great defensive play backing up first base and saving two runs from coming homo. Travis -Jenkins had a great hit that drove two of Rapp’s runs but again they came up short with the score being 5-3.
The Rapp Major teams went to Bier son Elementary to play. Manny Garcia’s team won their game against the Marshall Tigers by a score of 5-3. Brad Johnson pitched for three innings with Sammy Purdom getting the save. Sammy also hit a triple. Adrian Bobbit made an awesome catch against the fence and Phillip Reynolds made a sliding catch at first to get an out.
The 14 and 15-year-old Babe Ruth team played the Loudoun County Marlins in a double header The first game ended in a 3-3 tie. Scoring for Rapp was Chad Mozingo, Jason Jarrels and Jason Cubbage.
