The program,which begins on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and continues each Thursday in the Parish Hall, allows walk-ins but prefers that students schedule an appointment beforehand. Parents are required to stay for their child’s 30-minute tutoring session.
Emma Sue Amos, who teaches math at Wakefield Country Day School, realized recently along with fellow parishioner Susan Laing, a teacher in Fauquier County, that a need existed to provide such assistance to local school children.
