“A Mighty Wind” has arrived. After several attempts to bring this film to the movie-going community, the film is in hand just awaiting the show date.
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community brings this film to The Theatre in Little Washington Friday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m.
In “A Mighty Wind” writer-director Christopher Guest proves that there are times when the art of poking delicate fun isn’t just one of the more sincere forms of flattery—it’s among the niost loving. Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer gently tweak the world of folk music in this mockumentary about a reunion of old folksters. The talented cast breathes wit and comedic timing into this spoof of folk-era life and lunacy.
