Homecoming Day
Washington Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming Day on Sunday, Oct. 5. The guest preacher will be former pastor Rev. John Divers. The Southern Gospel group “Sons of Praise” from Lynchburg will be singing in the morning program and will offer a mini-concert at 1:30 p.m. at the church. The Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington will hold a revival from Oct. 1217 with Evangelist David Sommerdorf the speaker each night at 7:30 p.m. Special singing by the Sommerdorf family. Everyone is welcome.
